Welcome back!
Now that we have a clear understanding of what Reiki is from our last post, let’s dive into its benefits and discover how it can help.
Sir Jacob L. Moreno, an American psychiatrist, social psychologist, and educator famously said, "the body remembers what the mind forgets," reminding us that our bodies not only store experiences, habits, and traumas but also have their unique way to communicate these to us. With practice, we can learn to listen to our bodies.
How does a Reiki session benefit you?
Reiki treatments can have various effects, as the healing process is unique to each individual. While some people may experience an immediate sense of positivity, others might first undergo an emotional release or cleansing that their bodies need before achieving a state of balance.
Overall, Reiki is known to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and manage physical pain, facilitating physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. By clearing blockages and harmonising energy, Reiki encourages the smooth flow of energy within the client’s body, enhancing their overall well-being. Many individuals experience benefits such as:
Relaxation: A deep state of relaxation that can help reduce stress and anxiety.
Pain Relief: Reiki can help alleviate chronic pain.
Enhanced Well-Being: Improved emotional stability and mental clarity.
Support for Healing: Reiki can complement traditional medical treatments, potentially accelerating the healing process.
Fun fact: A Reiki session is recognized as healthcare according to the Swedish Tax Agency’s guidelines, which officially approve Reiki as both a treatment method and a form of self-help training.

Who should consider taking a reiki treatment?
Reiki can be a transformative experience for anyone seeking balance and harmony within themselves. It is particularly beneficial for those who feel emotionally out of alignment, are experiencing stress, or wish to release past traumas. Many use Reiki as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments, finding that it enhances healing and promotes relaxation.
From my own observations and experiences, I have seen the significant positive impact Reiki can have on physical health issues. Over time, long-standing and stagnant energy congestion can lead to physical ailments. To illustrate, imagine a piece of food or a perishable item that finds its way under your living room carpet. Initially hidden, it eventually stinks, goes stale, and may stain the carpet. Similarly, our bodies can absorb and react to the energies that permeate our lives, layering over time and potentially leading to imbalances.
Reiki is also excellent for those who feel nothing is wrong in their lives, as it helps cleanse and detoxify our mental, emotional, and physical bodies from the unconscious layers accumulated over time. I was introduced to Reiki during a challenging period in my life that caused me emotional stress and energetic congestion. Even as I practice Reiki professionally today, I make it a point to give myself Reiki and cleanse my energies for balance and harmony almost every day.
Every day, I encounter various experiences and thought forms that can attract numerous energies and affect the free flow of my own energy or kundalini. If not addressed, these energies can cloud my intuition, induce fear, and disrupt my sense of harmony.
In conclusion, Reiki is more than just a healing practice; it serves as a pathway to a more balanced and harmonious life. Whether you are facing challenges or seeking to enhance your well-being, Reiki offers the support & guidance needed to restore inner peace and clarity.
Have you tried it yet? :)
